Amar submitted his favorite photo he took in the Bansingh village during his workshop in 2011 into the Scholastic Art Program under the Photography category. The scholastic awards program has become a vast cooperative venture. From its inception, the program has encouraged and recognized achievements in the fine and applied arts. It has become an important force in the advancement of art education. In fact, hundreds of former winners have achieved distinction in the fields of fine and applied arts and design. Being selected for inclusion in a Wisconsin regional scholastic exhibition is an honor. Amar’s photograph was on display at the Milwaukee Art Museum in Milwaukee, Wisconsin for a month and now its traveling with the program around the United States. Congrats Amar!
